FU-C574 cobalt blue, pigment blue 28 (77346), pigment blue 28 (cobalt aluminate blue spinel): is a red shade cobalt aluminate blue, a non-toxic pigment. Excellent covering power, color clarity and high shading intensity. It has excellent chemical resistance, outdoor durability, thermal stability and light resistance and non-migration. Cobalt blue pigment, positive color, mainly used in high temperature coatings, ceramic, enamel, glass coloring, high temperature resistant engineering plastic coloring, and as an art pigment.

Cobalt Aluminate Blue Spinel (CoAl2O4) is produced by calcining, at high temperature, a mixture of Cobalt (II) Oxide, and Aluminum (III) Oxide in varyied ratios forming a interdiffused crystalline spinel. It may include any one or more of the modifiers MgO, ZnO, Li2O and/or TiO2.
