Kinds of pigment on condition of use

According to different conditions of use, the ceramic color can be divided into: high temperature and low temperature color, blank color, glaze color.

High temperature and low temperature color: low temperature color temperature is usually below 850℃, often used for daily ceramic glaze decoration. The high temperature color can be used in 1000 ~ 1300℃, can be used to prepare various high temperature ceramic color glaze. High temperature colorants can be used at 700 ~ 850℃ with appropriate flux, while low temperature colorants can not be used at high temperature to replace high temperature colorants.

The body color: is a high temperature use color, less varieties, large quantity. Body color material is general requirements of strong color, stability, high temperature and good price.

Glaze color: It’s high temperature color. In the production of architectural sanitary ceramics, this kind of colorant is generally added to the base glaze according to the additional amount of 1 ~ 6%, and the color glaze can be obtained after the required temperature is burned, so as to achieve the purpose of decoration. Note: Body coloring and glaze coloring usually cannot be used for each other, otherwise, it is easy to appear more other glaze defects.
