Precautions for the preparation of zirconium praseodymium yellow
(1) During the sintering process of zirconium and praseodymium yellow samples, Pr4+ completely generates gaseous substances at 300~500℃. In order to prevent the loss of Pr4+ due to volatilization, the heating rate can be appropriately accelerated or corresponding technological measures can be taken.
(2)500 ℃~700 ℃ is the key temperature stage for Pr4+ to enter ZrO2 lattice in large quantities.
(3) The generation of ZrSiO4 begins at 750 C, and 750℃~ 850 ℃ is the key temperature stage of its synthesis. Therefore, at 500~850℃, the heating rate should be slowed down appropriately.
(4)850℃~950℃ is the perfect stage of ZrSiO4 crystal development, the temperature rise rate should be slow, and appropriate insulation at 950℃.
