Bismuth Vanadate Yellow (Pigment Yellow 184, C.I. 771740) is an complex inorganic color pigment with the chemical formula BiVO₄·nBi₂MoO6 and the CAS number 14059-33-7.

 

 

 

Environmentally friendly and non-toxic

It does not contain heavy metals such as lead and cadmium, meets the requirements of lead-free products, and can replace traditional toxic pigments such as cadmium yellow and chromium yellow.

 

 

2. Excellent coloring performance

The color is bright, presenting as lemon yellow or greenish yellow, close to high-performance organic pigments, and the yellow tone is higher than that of titanium-nickel yellow. It is commonly used as a substitute for cadmium-contaminated yellow lemon.

 

 

3. Excellent weather resistance and stability

It has excellent acid and alkali resistance and solvent resistance, with low light loss upon exposure to sunlight. It is suitable for scenarios with high weather resistance requirements (such as automotive coatings and outdoor construction). The heat resistance reaches 320℃.

 

 

4. High dispersibility

It is easy to disperse in water-based, oil-based coatings, powder coatings and inks, and no complex processing is required.
